This putter is rare for two reasons. The first reason is the TeI3 sole stamp.

After the 97 Masters, the TeI3 stamping was moved from the sole to the face of the putter for better exposure. The second reason is the pure Teryllium insert without white elastomer around it. The reason that the elastomer started being used around the face insert after 1997 was because Scotty wasn't as skilled as Bettinardi.

He couldn't mill the putter head for the Teryllium insert to fit flush consistently. Cameron started using the elastomer to hide the imperfect milling of putter heads after Bettinardis departure.
